CASSEN Testing Laboratories, a Canadian laboratory established in 2000, is a well-respected premier chemical testing laboratory nationally. We serve many sectors including petrochemical, automotive, governments, research institutions, manufacturing, construction, education, energy, healthcare, and consulting firms. CASSEN has an extensive list of testing parameters, currently with the highest number of accredited methods of all laboratories accredited by AIHA LAP LLC internationally. We offer both routine and specialized analysis based on required testing specifications. The laboratory is well-known for its ability to determine unknown emissions and contaminants in solving complex chemical problems with detailed explanation. Our testing methods encompass ISO, ASTM, NIOSH, OSHA, MDHS, USEPA, CARB, UNODC and various Canadian methods. With a history of extensive method development for many new chemicals and government initiatives, CASSEN also possesses many inhouse methods for both existing and emerging chemicals.

Numerous method development and evaluation studies have also been conducted for Canadian government departments, research organizations and industries for the past decades, some for the quantitative target analysis for different chemical classes and matrices involving existing Canadian and international regulations/guidelines such as Canadian Priority Pollutant List (PSL I & II), Canadian Environment Protection Act (CEPA) and Chemical Management Plan (CMP), as well as many other large industrial projects.

CASSEN Testing Laboratories is an AIHA-LAP, LLC (ISO 17025) accredited laboratory and has participated in many proficiency programs such as IHPAT program, United Kingdom LGC Standards Proficiency Testing, Phenova Proficiency Testing and previously the United Kingdom Workplace Analytical Scheme Proficiency (WASP) Program administered by Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL).
