CASSEN Testing Laboratories is a federally incorporated, Canadian owned, independent testing laboratory located near Toronto Pearson International Airport. CASSEN offers full service chemical testing with a very extensive scope of accreditation. In addition, the laboratory provides special testing, forensic investigation, heath studies and scientific research for a wide range of clienteles. For the past two decades, CASSEN and its key scientific staff has conducted numerous chemical method development and studies in support of Health Canada initiatives such as First Priority Substances List (PSL-1), Second Priority Substances List (PSL-2); Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) and Chemical Management Plan (CMP).
The company has a wealth of knowledge in chemicals and experience in handling unique cases with specialized testing requirements and a very high reputation in quality of work produced. Our client base includes all levels of government departments and agencies, major industries, manufacturers, institutions, industrial hygiene and engineering consulting companies.
For the past few decades, CASSEN and its key scientific staff has conducted many chemical method development and studies in support of Health Canada initiatives such as First Priority Substances List (PSL-1), Second Priority Substances List (PSL-2); Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) and Chemical Management Plan (CMP). We have also undertaken numerous specialized chemical projects in support of indoor air quality evaluations, forensic investigations, epidemiology research, emerging air contaminants studies, odour complaints, workplace chemical exposure, new regulation initiatives and finding causes of industrial problems due to chemicals.

CASSEN Testing Laboratories is an AIHA-LAP, LLC (ISO 17025) accredited laboratory and has participated in many proficiency programs such as IHPAT program, United Kingdom LGC Standards Proficiency Testing, Phenova Proficiency Testing and previously the United Kingdom Workplace Analytical Scheme Proficiency (WASP) Program administered by Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL).
