CASSEN Testing Laboratories is an AIHA accredited laboratory in compliance with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025, general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. We are accredited for both Industrial Hygiene and Unique Scope Testing, and possess the largest number of accredited methods of all AIHA LAP accredited laboratories internationally.

As part of requirements for our accreditation, CASSEN has participated in the following available proficiency Programs relevant to our testing:

  1. AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT) Program – Organic solvents
  2. AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing (IHPAT) Program – Metals
  3. AIHA Proficiency PAT Program – Passive samplers
  4. UK Health and Safety Executive – Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) Workplace Analytical Scheme Proficiency Program (WASP)
    • VOCs by TD/GC/MS
    • Formaldehyde with DNPH Derivatization
    This program was ended by UK government in 2015 due to cost cutting measures
  5. UK LGC Standards Proficiency Program – volatile organic compounds using thermo-desorption tubes
  6. UK LGC Standards Proficiency Program – formaldehyde using DNPH coated filters
  7. UK LGC Standards Proficiency Program – gravimetric analysis
